I (as like many of you) have heard all day on these forums & chats that G-Unit is over. Well I'm here to tell you nothing can be futher from the truth. If I told you G-Unit has the 2nd highest selling artist in the past year, their releases outsold every east coast release since 2002 except for a few, what would you say? See over is Ja Rule! He can't sell in his own city let alone sell in his own coast. G-Unit still runs their coast. No one sold more records than from 02-present no one doing that span sold more than 50 Cent. The members who no longer apart of G-Unit still make money for G-Unit so still could be considered apart of G-Unit. Finally G-Unit is a company & by it being a company it can always sign new artist if the ones there not getting it done. So yes G-Unit ain't going platinum with every release but what rap company ever done that? So G-Unit isn't in as bad of shape as you may think.
people talk mad s*** look at when jay-z had the roc going good almost all those bums didnt go platinum.........nobody does it like the unit thats y theres so much hate.....
People want to hold 50 Cent & G-Unit to unrealistic standards. 50 sell less that 5 million & it's considered a failure, G-Unit members sell less than platinum & it's a dud. No group in hip hop ever have kept a pace up like that so that let you know how relevant that G-Unit is for people to continue to hold them to those standards.
G-Unit is a company, they can always add new members just like Bad Boy, Cash Money & Def Jam did. As long as they got at least 1 person selling then you can't consider it over.
the unit fell off music wise most of the s*** coming from them niggas are soft pop records..that most us cats aint feelin we want that beg for mercy type vibe back
The kid need Sha Money back. He need his good ears to say this is your lane and thats hot. Creating music but not releasing anything means u a lil confused. Admit that first then get that person to help you find ya niche
