I was sitting on the porch with my ex in S.C.
We had just finished smokin a L ...
and our neighbor who was a total jokester came up and said
Did you hear what happened in New York ??
We said no what .. he said someone ran planes into the buildings..
They think it was terrorists..
We thought he was joking.. and he said NO .. I'm serious ...
We went in the house and turned on the TV in time to see what was going on..
My children were homeschooled at the time and we got them up
to come and watch the news with us ..

I was in school.... Somebody comes into my class yelling that a plane hit the buildings...we all go and check it out....and after school...I was going home....and since I live in Brooklyn right next to the water.....you could see Manhattan across the water and the black smoke just filled up the sky......yeah.....s*** was f***** up....

its a pity really that it takes a disaster like that
to bring people together to work for a common cause ..
and yes i believe the govt is responsible for a lot of the bad things that happen in our country !

you are speaking of the katrina disaster...
the things about katrina that were on the news
are the reason i no longer watch the nightly news..
it ripped my heart out to see the folks of new orleans
suffering and crying and being treated the way they were..
this is 9/11...
sorry if you are upset over the fact that no one

maybe you should do that grindstaff ??
i have a few very good friends here who have been transplanted
due to katrina .. so believe me ..
I have not forgotten ..

referring to katrina...
