Ruben Studdard has been ordered to pay back almost $200,000 to the U.S. government.
According to court records, tax liens have been filed on the singer's properties for unpaid federal and local taxes. The majority of Studdard's failed payments date back to 2003, when the star won $1 million from the reality show competition.
The R&B/Gospel singer recently wed Surata Zuri McCants on June 28, 2008 in a short, private ceremony outside of Birmingham, Alabama.
