OPEN THANK YOU LETTER TO 50 CENT, TONY YAYO, AND LLOYD BANKS

To the G-Unit and all of the staff at thisis50 and G-Unit records and G-Unit radio:

First off this letter is for who it is addressed to. Its not for haters and naysayers to comment on. But I know they will because otherwise their not doing their job. Initially the letter was inspired by a conversation I had with my girlfriend earlier today. Before T.O.S even dropped she wanted to write her own letter of thanks and actually send it in to your offices, but after our convo we had, I decided why not just give it a shot on the internet tip.

Anyway, my girlfriend and I been together basically ten years and we both grew up during the best eras of hip hop culture and music. You know, B.I.G, Pac, Jay, N.W.A, Wu, Nas, Dr.Dre, Snoop, Eminem, DMX, Redman, etc. Now, my girlfriend isnt down with all this internet bloggin s***. She's straight out the hood the roughest of hoods B-More Park Heights. We both are, but I'm down with this internet bloggin b******* more than she is. Of course she's intelligent and hasn't let her environment determine how she's going to live for the rest of her life, but she suggested that I should write the letter.

Point being, I explained what was going on over the net for the past few days in reference to the G-Unit hate and T.O.S numbers ordeal she became rather upset. She told me the same s*** was going on in her circles as far as her job's co-workers and her friends she hangs with from time to time.

Every one she tried to put on to T.O.S basically replied with:

"What? G-Unit?! Nobody f**** with them any more"!

After actually buying and hearing T.O.S and still continuing to hear this from these people, she's starting to take it personal. She explained to me that people declaring to her that "G-Unit is b*******" is an insult to her intelligence because she knows damn well she's not sittin up listening to wack music. And the alternatives that those people suggest to her like Plies, Lil Wayne, and Gucci Mane, make her even more upset, because as far as she's concerned how is there even a comparison? I definitely agree.

But, then she hit me with the question...WHY DO PEOPLE HATE G-UNIT SO MUCH?

I got theories, but I told her "We bought got their CDs and that's all that counts. Its nothing else we can really do. Its no ones fault that people didn't go out and snatch it up all crazy, other people are just missing out...terribly ".

Of course, she replied with:

"Well that isnt enough!! Those dudes are successful and have money. They aint got to make another damn song or video. And if they decide that, what happens then? We going to have to listen to Plies and Lil Wayne?!! F*** Dat!! Who's going to give us that s*** we want to hear? DMX is done, he's on crack. Nas wants to rap over pianos with no beat. I'm not a Jay-z fan like that, so if G-Unit stop making new bangers, what do we have left? F*** that Gucci Mane and Shawty Lo s***!!"

Yup her exact words. And that's why she's wifey. LOL Anyway, she wanted to really thank you guys for everything that you do. Giving us entertainment and music just to get through the every day hustle. She doesn't want ya'll music to end, because all she will have is the old classic s*** to listen to. What's crazy is before I put her on last year to "Curtis" and told her that 50 was still making new good s***, all she would listen to was old classic s***. Once I put her on to all the recent G-Unit Radios and Whoo Kid tapes, she's been hooked.

So when I told her the first week numbers for T.O.S, she really wanted to express her gratitude ASAP and that she appreciates what ya'll do and understands ya'll aint got to do a damn thing, but ya'll doing the damn thing anyway. I wrote this letter for her because I basically agree and thought this blogging s*** may get to ya'll faster. I know ya'll are busy but this is just a letter of thanks from both us when ya'll do get the time to read it.

Thanks Again and keep up the good work!

Sincerely,
Max and Crissy

just make sure u use a condom cuz u d*** ridin rite now
Why you hating? That's not what G-Unit Soldiers are made of! What are we going to do if the crew decides that they have made enough money to live comfortably for the rest of their lives. We would be stuck with these superficial crews that don't even take the time to create outlets for their fans. Dude want to see the Unit around for years to come like the rest of us. We don't hate, we congratulate. What's wrong with that Bizzy? G-G-G-G-Unit.
Glad to see you clocked in. Wouldn't have been right without you.
Max and Chrissy, I as a true G-Unit Soldier have to applaud you guys for even taking the time to put together a Thank you letter for the crew. We must continue to let them know that their hard work and efforts to put out good music is definitely appreciated. We as Soldiers have a love for them that far surpasses the music. They have started a movement that other artist have failed to create. It's a shame but the listeners are getting a lot younger and know nothing about loyalty. That's why we have to control this site and school some of these kids. Keep posting blogs with substance and as time go on, they will feel and understand that they are apart of something Gr-Gr-Gr-Great!!!!!! Fif is experience trying times right now and we have to support him through it all. He may not respond to comments and we all understand that he is a busy man. But the truth is, he loves us just as much as we love him. Keep buying material and stay connected to this circuit, that's how we as Soldiers can make a difference. When Pac died, I cried like that dude was family. I can't imagine a day when G-Unit is no more so on that note, I play my part. Yall continue to do the same. Thanks again. G-G-G-G-Unit!!!!!!! Let the haters hate! As Baby Boy Banks would say "And if they hate then let 'em hate and watch the money pile up"!
Thank you for reading.
THATS REAL!!! KEEP DOING WHAT YALL DO I'M DOWN . When yall stop makin music rap is done
ha, ha, ha – if 50 was confused about Wayne’s 1 mill in a week he must be in state of dementia regarding his 102,000 unit sold in 1 week. To add insult to injury Wayne soundly beat those dudes again this and he has been out 4 weeks. That is a flat out embarrassment for G-Unit.

Now everyone reading this – you knew that I was going to drop a comment on this blog. The truth of the matter is that to me numbers don’t mean s***. I said it for years while 50 was hitting it soundscan out of the park and laughing at cats who’s numbers were better than his current102 but not much better. I have always thought that only idiots measure the quality of music by the number of unit sold. However if you are a G-Unit fan you are probably an idiot so it is understandable.

However 50’s very public demise may mean that hip hop does have a chance to live. It also may mean that artists will think twice before trying to diss and so call ether people’s career. The bottom line is to just make the music and good music at that. I will forever say that the Young Buck situation is what put the final nail in G-Unit.

See if a person is so-called ethered out of the game because of another artist’s superior lyrical word play then people will crown the winner and show the loser the door. This is all within the culture of the art. However, when you take a protégé and a person you called a little brother and you do the dirty back stabbing underhanded foul b**** n**** s*** 50 did to Young Buck then that kind of act migrates out of the art and land of hip hop fantasy and in to real life. Those were real life issues buck was dealing with and for 50 to expose those issues to world by secretly recording Buck’s phone call went beyond the Hip Hop game. For 50 to turn on a person who was humble, truthful about his circumstances and seeking help from 50 was so foul that it made people take off their Hip Hop hat and put on their real life hat and judge 50 as a man and a human being not as the mystical entertainer and artist that he is. Now once they judged him as a man they concluded that this cat is not someone that they simply could not support. The punishment did not fit the crime and I think this particularly reigned true with the southern hip hop buying public. If you look all around the internet people are kicking 50.

I mean this is a new group of people too. This collection of 50 detractors does incorporate 50’s enemies fan base but there is also a new group of 50 cent adversaries. I think this group of people is people who were disgusted by his action with young Buck. Further I think he is also getting a backlash from how he is handling this situation with his son and his mother. This brother needs the best PR person in the business or it’s a rap for him.

102, 000 and you had and have all of the Black and Latino entertainment media in your back pocket (Hot 97, XXLmag.com, mediatakeout.com and others).

I mean “Funk Mastered-homosexuality Flex” is so ethically corrupt that he refuses to play anything Young Buck puts out in the future or any of his past works.

Do you know what his reason is? He said that he will not play Buck’s music because he wasn’t loyal to 50. Now is that not crazy or what. Disobedience to 50 bans you for life on the “Funk Mastered-Homosexuality Flex” show. And where are the administrators at HOT 97. How can they let an employee make a public statement like that? If I was Buck I would hire a lawyer and see if there was room for a civil law suit against hot 97. Anyway, with all of the Black entertainment and Hip Hop media (with the exception of Sohh) on 50’s short and “curlies” and having his own propaganda website to push his b******* he was only able to push a measly 102 out. This kid is on a major too. That is a huge flop and there is no other way to spin it. However, I think the Buck situation is what killed him. Buck made the right move by leaving g-Unit even with tape being leaked. If 50 can barely break 100 what in the hell would Buck do on that garbage label, 40 maybe 50. The other thing is that Buck sounds so much better not that he is not with G-Unit. All of his G-Unit diss songs have been fire. I can see he switch flow to sound a little Pac-ish but that is cool because it work really well on him.

Now as for 50, he has not made good music in a very long time. G-Unit records have not made good music in a long time. And 50 is smoking crack if he thinks BISD will sell a million in a week. It will not sell a million, period. This kid is in classic denial. He doesn’t and can’t believe that it is over. Innerscope will be more than happy to show him the door after he fulfills his contractual obligations with them. Further the other majors will not be beating down his door for his services, either.

Consider this: 5 out of G-Unit last 6 albums have been commercial flops (Tony Yayo, Mobb Deep, Lloyd Banks, Young Buck and now G-Unit the Group with their latest effort, TOS). Tony Yayo is up next to drop and given that he is the worst rapper in the world he is bound to flop too which will make it 6 flops out of 7 albums. If you include Lil crappy - I mean lil Scrappy and Freeway who 50 executive produced that would be 7 out of the last 8 albums.
Now GRODT was amazing but that was a DR. Dre produced joint. Everything Dre produces is amazing. So although the “Assacre” sold big the content and quality of that joint was awful. Curtis was pure trash and barely went plat.
Further their roster has withered away. Olivia was dropped from the G-Unit label. MOP was dropped from the label. Hot Rod has a homo name and he sucks ass as a rapper – so he is on the shelf. Spida Loc is horrific as a rapper so he is on the shelf. Mobb Deep is done. I also should remind you that 50 in a head to head soundscan showdown with Kanye West 50 was flat out roasted by Kanye. Once the dust was all settled Kanye West sold more that 2 million more albums than 50 cents. And today’s new commercial king Lil Wayne sold 10 times more in his first week then G-Unit did.
So G-Unit as a record label company has nothing to offer in terms of talent and soon 50 will be 35 years of age at the time some one signs him. Now with this young fickle hip hop buy public 35 years of age will make him look as old as the Ancient Egyptian Sphinx to these kids but unlike the Sphinx the interest in this old man telling hood tales about being shot 9 times and making cornball ice cream candy songs like Amusement Park, Candy Shop and lil bit will fall on def ears of the hip hop music buying public.
He is also a high maintenance dude with an addiction to drama that everyone will be well aware of. I mean the mother of 50’s son has labeled him as an obsessed arsonist who is a terrible father. She has even taken a restraining order out against him. He in return has countered her actions by bringing a defamation of character suit against her.
He also got into a "spat" with 106 and Park’s host, Rosci because she said that his album, Curtis was garbage (which it was). He returned her most accurate assessment of his album with a comment saying “I know 4 guys who slept with her." What a cornball. All the b******* beefs he started with other artists. So people are not going be so will to take on a The Dennis Rodman of the hip hop industry as fast some of you think.

I personally enjoy all of this difficultly of this particular Black man (I use the term loosely). I like 50 hitting hard times and it is not because this buffoon has started beef with every rapper in the game (Nas, Fat Joe, Game, Young Buck, Retried ass Master P, TI, Weezy, Jadakiss, Cameron, Ja Rule, Diddy, Rosci- Bet 106 and Park host, Shyne (even as Shyne is behind bars), Jay Z and Wu Tang clan) for the purpose of selling Cds is not what troubles me most about this buffoon. What troubles me the most is his betrayal of our people. First he said “fuck the hood. I am not making music for the hood.” Which was coding for saying I am making music for white people only and f*** what you niggas think of me? But waay more than that – what trouble me most about this traitor was his siding with a man who’s paralysis and apathy killed Black people by the dozens.
I remind you that 50 cents is the same man who in the immediate aftermath (no pun) of our people drowning in the hot, polluted, s*****, pissy, corpse filled pond of the spillage of Katrina and our elderly grandparents being left for dead on roof tops of homes in New Orleans by George Bush and the governments at all levels, this Uncle Tom 50 cent said to the associated press that he thought that President Bush did all he could do for Black people and scolded Kanye West and others for being critical of the president. I can’t stand this a****** and I am personally embarrassed that he is from New York but I di welcome his long over do public demise out of the game.
Now for my detractors – first of all f*** you. I write as long as I want to. And yeah I do know everything about 50 because I study people who I see as a threat to our people or have kicked us when we were down and 50 falls in to both categories.
This will be my one and only post of the day unless someone comes on here and attack me and do it so well that I feel need to respond.
Other than that, peace to the real.

Really cool. I would love to do what 50 is doing with SK. I hope to travel and study various cultures/societies (that's why I'm studying sociology). It's always an honor to see people expand their minds. I'm anxious to see how…
