I'm 28 so I guess that classify me as old school! But back in my day we didn't flip on artist every other week. Don't get me wrong, we was fickle too but not at the rate of this new generation. So with that said, y'all loved 50 Cent & G-Unit in 2002 so what change? Why the low sales for Buck The World, Blood Money, Rotten Apple & TOS? Why Thoughts Of A Predicate Felon didn't do as good as the albums before it? Why 50 Cent's "Curtis" sold well below the Massacre & GRODT? What change in your heart for the camp since 2002 & is there's something the Unit can do to win you back?

It may sound right in theory but he will never sell. 50 don't do it just for the love if he did then he would stick to the mixtapes because it's free. I don't know where you from but here in Chicago they got a bootleg stand selling the mixtape for 3 dollars at every corner & gas station. Look up the facts anywhere, In Da Club & 21 Questions charted higher than Wanksta & Many Men. Why? Because if it ain't too hard then he can get plenty of radio play & females don't want to hear that ruff stuff. Many Men was rarely seen on tv. It's an easy concept to figure out even Wayne figured it out & he's high on Syrup. Lollipop is the softest song on the album & even though street niggas think the song is gay, it's the biggest single of his career because it gets radio & tv plays & the women loves it.
That's what he's trying to do is recreate that album. It's hard to recreate your first album because you had your whole life to make it & you didn't know better. 50 Cent don't want to make good music for his health he wants people to buy it. I'll whip yo head boy & what ever other hardcore song 50 made you thought he should have made a video of wouldn't have fared better because it wouldn't got played & if it did get played it would be so censored that it wouldn't make much sense to have played it in the 1st place. Just look I'll Still Kill. That was a good hardcore song but it was so censored & watered down to it just sounded wack. 50 sold off his 1st record off of In Da Club & filling a void that Pac left. He was real & hard & didn't give a f***! Now the quality of the songs might not be what it used to be compared to his 1st album but the formula is similar. But you're right it's not working like it used to so if he want to be on top again then he has to adapt to what's hot now. But what is hot now?
MAN NOT MUCH FANS OR SUPPORTER FR UNIT LEFT....
cuz the quality of their music has hit rock bottom
hip hop fans these days are mostly bandwagon riders, and its obvious they flip flop on rappers all the time cause look at 50's declining sales. Look at Wayne he sold a mill first week out this album and look at all his other album sales, carter 2 didnt sell 300,000 first week. EVerybody is just riding his bandwagon now until the wheels fall off for him.
50 aint ma favorite no mo cuz he got too many hits....he drivin me crazy
Even though I know you was joking, I think in reality that's why a lot of fans turn on 50. They did it to Jay Z & I'm sure they're going to do it to Lil Wayne.
No you blame the fans! On 50 1st album, it was so dope because he didn't know what the people wanted to hear so he made an album speaking from his sold. But now he knows what sells so he trys to make records for the majority that buys the records.
dont blame then fans if everytime you drop a album and your songs are getting weaker and weaker should i still be a loyal fan spend my lil bit of money on it? grodt was awsome, massacre was good, curtis was not bad....... whats next........ Hunger for more was crazy, rotten apple was good.......... Str8 outta cashville was hotttt, buck the world not so much........ Yoyo's album i only like 2 or 3 tracks thats bad, i dont kno what his next album gonna be like........ The Documenary was Good, the second game joint was wack but he had nothing to do with 50 ...... Beg for mercy was gr8 TOS havent heard it yet i brought 4 of them but his music quality has gone down so much i dont wanna listen to it cause i am not expecting good things.... and when u got fans thinking like that u got a prob. if i am wrong let me kno
No I said blame the fans because he's making the music that they buys. The fan may be getting tired of them songs but it's along the same lines of the ones that made 50 as big as he is. If 50 is guilty of anything, I would say sticking to the same formula that don't work anymore.
i like that topic, in the music business alots of artist have been in one direction on that slow music s***,the music industry need a change with some gangsta s***,f*** all the beef chicken and fish is good too.
I was a big fan of 50 & I was down with G-Unit, but the more beef 50 creates, he loses more fans. He lost alot of his female fan-base when he went at Kanye. He lost some hood cats when he went at The Lox. & Now it seems like parts of the south may be on the ex-fan list from the Buck situation.
I've noticed that 50 has gotten his kicks off of beef & dissin people, but why does he consistenly drop softer music? Soft singles didnt get him to 11 mil.
Go back to your roots 50, at least finish off strong.
