50, my name is Chris. I just joined the board today but have been to the site previously many times. I have followed your career and consider the job you have done remarkable. I truly believe you get flack because as you say "people show discomfort because of the space you are in". Enough people don't give you enough credit for expanding your business and growing past the music.
I'm 41 and have tried to position myself (not necessarily in the music business but in business in general) as you have. I bought into a dot com internet business in the Dominican Republic and we throw events for men as well as women looking to meet for dating or marriage. I have a place there now but I'm currently in Houston working on a project. When I'm in the D.R., they love 50 and call you cincuenta centavas (lol); the spanish way of saying it!
Long story short....if you are ever in the D.R., we'd love to interview you and I'll be frank 1) because I'm a big fan and will always be and 2) because of the crazy exposure I believe we'd get. We plan on doing the Dominican version of 'Girls Gone Wild' later this year. Snoop was a host at their event, maybe there's a chance of a cincuenta centavas sighting there when we hold it. I'll be sure to keep you posted!
