Hello 50 Cent: I am an unemployed white 40 year old guy. I used to despise you and your type of music. I have been out of work and in a daze for over a year. Down and out. My last job ended terribly. A younger person came in and had me pushed out of the loop and I was cast out basically. One day last week I was browsing through the bookstore and picked up your new book just because I liked the cover. I had seen it many times before but I was always thinking, "What can this n***** write about?" I was wrong and racist. I'm so broke that I couldn't even pay for the book, so every day I go back to the bookstore and read a chapter. Your book is already changing my attitude and outlook on life. I picked myself up and had a job interview this week because I became fearless like your book said. I will start my own business now soon. I was wrong about you and I apologize. This Friday I will finally buy your book. I wanted you to know that you helped a poor white guy start getting his life back in order. The only question I had is probably an impossible one: WILL YOU SIGN MY BOOK?

hey there fifty.. my names Gerald Germain.. i am from hamilton ontario canada.. i have been a long time fan of your music... you are in my eyes a hip hop pioneer... i have been a member on thisis50.com since day 1.. i am a huge fan.. i know your music in and out... a friend of mine is a producer out here in hamilton.. hes with digiwax currently.. he has done some ill tracks... he produces.. and he raps.. but his producing skills are where it is at.. he has produced tracks which have had verses layed down by some well known rappers.. peedi crack, styles p, cassidy, mims.. there is a bunch of beats he has that i think you would like... i told him..im going to try my best to try and get at fifty... and i seen you on the live stream lately.. and i seen how cool you are with the callers.. so i figured why not try and let you know whats up out here in hamilton..how can we get in contact with you.. also i tried phoning in on that last live stream.. the 1-888 number and it wasnt letting me thru.. i guess it wasnt letting canada phone you fif.. ne way your a busy man i dont know if you will even see this..

It seems to me that a lot of people consider a rapper "soft" and discredits him if he's not acting super tough or comes from the street even if he 's obviously talented. Has rap become more about status and manhood than about making good music ?
