The east needs to stop all that trying to be gangsters s*** they been doing. The east was always built off of lyricism & they need to go back to that. Above all else the east needs to adapt, I don't mean to do what everybody else is doing, I'm talking about changing your formula & try to be different from others from the East. To be real with the exception of 50, most of the East rappers sound the same with different voice boxes.

there r some good artists comin from the east you got Uncle murda, maino,pap,hell rell, m fox, bang bang boogie, who r all dope
plus g unit is still puttin out dope songs jadakiss is still dope and dipset can make a comeback 2

When east coast fans stop being cheap and go out to the store and buy the real s*** instead of a 5 dollar bootleg. Im tellin you, if bootleg sales were counted on soundscan I think east coast would definately by on top easily.

I like it from everywhere, u cant judge by the region 4 real(even though I like the south the most) u gotta judge the rapper. my favs up north is Jay Z, Jada Kiss, DMX, 50, and I like Fabolous. The West aint doin s*** right now(Game is nobody) and then u have da SOUTH!! 8Ball & MJG, UGK, Jeezy, Rick Ross, Lil Wayne, TI, Slim Thug, Outkast, Trick Daddy, Pastsor Troy, need I continue?

I think it starts with the consumers first off down south a nobody can sell thousands of records out of his trunk and people don't care who he is but n the east we as the consumers make it hard cause we don't support each other we say s*** like he's not from our hood, I don't know him but I say f*** it if somebody got a CD for sale s*** it only cost $5 that ain't going to make u rich and it ain't going to make u poor spending so give them a shot and buy cause as u c every artist from the south that comes out is on a independent label and backed by a major cause he sold enough CD's on his own to get the major labels attention and he sold enough to get his money right to start his label so at the end of the day it's all about support. Support your local up and coming artist!!!!!!!!!

It'll take DJ Khaled to die for the East to be back on top. Lmao. Becuz it seems like he's the stone for all them down south (especially miami) rappers. And it'll also take NY rappers to do what Southern rappers do best: unite. Lol. But we all know that's never gonna happen. Becuz NY is too competitive.

When niggas get they mind right and see that weezy garbage cause we (as in east coast) already have nasty niggas like saigon, tru life, bang bang boogie, D-block, come on every single person and group i just named is just way more lyrical then lil wayne and the south is garbage except for DTP and jeezy.
