Wassup, I'm gonna list a few rappers from New York City that have been known as the class of new New york rappers for the last few years. OUt of these rappers, who do yall feel is gonna come with the hottest album and sell the most records....
Maino- (Had a buzz back in the day with the track Rumors, then he took more shots at artists with Take It Like A Man and did more name dropping on Be Me...Now he has Hi Hater buzzing for him, one of his biggest singles, and hes getting more spins on hot 97 then ever. Could the success of his single generate into good album sales?)
Saigon- (His Come On Baby record was hot, Pain In My Life was hot too and his track The Color Purple was crazy. Has a few good mixtapes in the past, and from what hes always saying his album is gonna be better then Illmatic and gonna be the greatest hip hop album ever....do you think if he can get a release date he could actually deliver or is he too full of himself and will never come out.)
Papoose- (This dude is TALENTED. He's nasty on the mic, he's 20 some plus mixtapes deep in the streets, and he has more then one song dope enough to be a hit record....He's fallen into the backseat of the limelight but as of late since the whole situation with Fat Joe the limelight and attention is back on Papoose and he's also squashed the beef with Uncle Murda, could he come with a single hot enough to be a hit then finally release his long awaited album and become a success?)
Jae Millz- (Jae Millz been on the rap scene for a minute, but every once in a while like about once a year he comes out with a crazy record. He's put songs out in the last 3-4 years that would definately be good enough to be hot songs and on top of the charts. He's another one's that's almost become forgotten and fell out of the limelight but his recent signing with Wayne's label young Money has gotten him a buzz again...Will he release an album on that label or will he be used just for ghost writing and behind the scenes?)
Grafh- (Out of all these rappers, he probably has the lowest buzz and least attention. He's definately talented and his free album Autografh he put out about over a year ago was a great piece of work. He's underrated in my eyes, and even though he's working side by side with Foxy brown, that hasnt gotten him anymore attention or buzz. Will he finally release a song that will give him his much deserved attention and buzz, and will he ever sell any records when he puts out his next major album?)
