Yesterday I sat down and listened to Get rich and then Curtis and then T.o.s. I loved get rich/massacre and like Curtis ok and T.o.s is pretty good but

I'll tell you EXACTLY what 3 things have to happen if he wants to reclaim the number 1 spot in rap.

1.) His production quality has decreased DRAMATICALLY since Get Rich and to a lesser extent the Massacre. This is the easiest thing to fix and will have the biggest and quickest impact on his career. The only get rich level beats he had on Curtis were "I get money" (huge record, woulda been bigger if not for the other terrible single choices that had people already writing off Curtis) and "Man Down", there were a couple of decent beats on the cd though.

2.) His Delivery/flow/Swag. I didn't realize this untill yesterday when I listened to the albums back to back. But Fif sounds like almost a different person most of the time now. Listen to get rich, especially songs like "Don't Push Me", "life's on the line", "u not like me", "heat", "places to go" etc and then listen to especially Curtis but T.o.s too. In this age of rap where SWAG is everything, 50 has lost a lot of his on records. It's like he is doing music by numbers for most of these cds. He still has it in him though, when he has flashbacks of the Get Rich 50 he is successful. Listen to his delivery on "I get Money" it fits right in with songs he made on Get Rich, the way he says lyrics and the lyrics themselves are just classic 50.
"I'll write the check before the baby comes who the f*** cares".

3.) Hit records. Everything 50 used to put out was a hit. Now a days its the hate/over exposure/his formulaic singles that have caused so many of his singles to flop. This is the hardest to fix but this is what it all boils down too. People will hate so he has to make them undeniable. Remember when "I get money" hit? Bet tried to front on him, they didn't even put it on 106th countdown for a while. Eventually they had too accept it, even though I don't think they ever let it get to #1.
But what he has to change is this forumla that he's used for so many singles, people are tired of it and won't even listen once they hear him say something like "drop it low like my 64". He needs to accept that most rap fans want to hear something simple that they can repeat "I GET MONEY...I GET IT" or the countless songs on the radio and countdowns from southern artists and everywhere else prove this.

If he does these 3 things then he will be back at the # 1 spot in no time. There are some other small things though that would help. Less beef, gunit is like in a bubble in hiphop, they are basically outside of the game, it was good when they dominated the charts but its not at this point. He's alienated the fans of a lot of other artists, and nobody gets gunit to feature on their songs which is not helping them. Look how features helped shoot Wayne up too the top so fast. Features fill the same purpose as mixtapes too the people who don't listen to mixtapes (people that BUY cds). 50 has a lot of the game scared to associate with him but remember when the "Touch it Remix" hit Banks had crazy buzz off that, he should have ran with it killing guest spots like Wayne did.
