I been hearing alot about 50 sayin' he gonna bring back gangsta rap and to be honest, I hope he does. That's not to say that it's dead (Nas you f*****' liar) but to say that outside of Ice Cube there is no other major rap artist who really pushes gangsta rap. Many say it's because it dont sell, or the niccas that it's made for dont buy records; I say B*******! Niccas don't buy records because for the last 10 yrs major artist have been makin' records for high school kids. Real grown niccas ain't gonna listen to the same crap as some highschooler and any one who does is retarded in the realest sense of the word. Real gangsta rap will always move units in the streets and stay in heavy rotation w/ real niccas worldwide. Why?! because the fuccin' conditions that made NWA create the genre still ain't changed. Just last week, 3 ppl got killed by overzealous sheriff deputies in the CPT; and the list goes on and on. Still ain't no jobs in the hood, still gettin' robbed by crooked ass politicians and harassed by police. So that's why. As long as the conditions exist, then there will always be a market for gangsta rap. Now put that in yo pipe and smoke it while you ridin' down Hip Hop Blvd. and oh yeah....skinnies is dead sucka.
