people wil say hip hop is dead because they say the music don't have a meanin now but i say hip hop is more alive now more deen it ever was more artist have there own label or movin out to new parts of hip hop thing like clothed lines video game and more hip hop is more reconize now all around the world because of guy run dmc, krs.one, rakim,just name some but i think hip hop is more alive bacause of the new generation guy like lil wayne,t.i,jay-z just to name some.

well i dont think hip hop is dead nor do i worry about it. for any genre to thrive it depends on its fans, no fans no artists no hip hop. it began as party music then went on to serious situations. now people blame southern party music as the death of hiphop, if thats truth then hiphop should have died back when luke was around and raheim the dream n kilo and all them dudes. But i separate hiphop n rap, rap to me is the foundation. hiphop is all the commercialism of rap. even if hiphop dies, rap will remain even if it just stays underground. right now just enjoy and be entertained and if so add to it, like back in the day if u didnt like what u heard, u made ur own music.
