I dont think it's hate, you just asked a question......some people don't know the whole process, so we just had to clear it up....thats all.....it's the rest of these people who dont understand and refuse to read, or watch the video clips.

well timbaland might not seem as creative as u think, but he is still a drum master. But it does seem like a few hits he's made seem like he just speeds up the tracks he gets from these foreign artist, because it sounds like the exact smae musical notes in them. overall i think hes still one of the best next to dr.dre cuz i listen to his other s*** timbaland has done for other artists and its completely original fosho.

nobody is trying to disrespect Timbaland at all!!!! i see he got alotta fans and i'm one of them.. but the same way we loved milli vanilli til we found out they were lip sinkin is the same way if i find out that timbaland aint make all them beats i'm gone be a dissapointed fan that's all

I FEEL YOU BUT YOU CAN'T TAKE MILLI VANILLI AS AN EXAMPLE .... TIMBERLAND IS DOING HIS THING CAUSE HE'S TAKING THAT SAMPLE AND RECREATING SOMETHING DIFFERENT , EVEN IF IT'S JUST BY ADDING A HARDER BEAT AND SPEEDING UP THE SAMPLE ...REMEMBER THOSE JOINTS HAVE THE SAME KEEYS BUT HE'S CHOPPING THEM UP DIFFERENT ..AND I'M NOT TRYING TO SAY THAT YOU HATING ON HIM I'M JUST TRYING TO MAKE YOU UDERSTAND THAT THIS IS A NORM FOR PRODUCERS ...ALL THE GREATEST PRODUCERS GO TO THE CRATES AND THEY FIND OLD MUSIC , MUSIC THAT PEOPLE HAVE DONE ..FROM JAMES BROWN , BOB JAMES, ETC ..THEY FIND A HOT HARMONY , OR SAMPLE AND LOOP IT ..BY LAW THEY CAN LOOP A SAMPLE UP TO 8 SECONDS OR MORE SINCE THE TIMES HAVE CHANGED , BUT THEY STILL HAVE TO GET THE SAMPLED CLEARED ...

everyone jacks something from someone else and makes it better you don't see nas sueing jay-z for making a verse and making it sound better i guess the dude that is sueing timbo is just a broke ass n**** trying to get some cash out of him and the beat was takin from a canadian not sure but the song with dmx get at me dog was also a stolen beat from a canadian but comon canadian rap sucks simple as that.

well technically it is stealing if you dont credit the origial artist, doesnt matter if it doesnt give credits it's YOUR responsibility to find out who made the original music. BUT... Timbaland did make the songs hot, tweeked 'em, added effects and more drums... it's called re-arranging.

ok i can i agree with that re-arranging theory.. but.. i just don't think he should get credit for the tracks at all.. and Lomax i respect your knowledge on the subject but u keep talking about the guy with the same sample how bout all these other tracks that have come in to question.. that law suit was just the straw that broke the camels back now the closet door flew open.. so even if that one is just the sample against sample suit what about all these other tracks

well he's creditted cuz of who he is, he's been producing for so long and hit after hit people just assume it's original. after I buy a record I play it and as I listen to the CD I read credits and see if they sampled anything, and who was involved. But shame on him if he doesnt credit original artist, brings him down..

YOU KEEP TALKING ABOUT THESE OTHER TRACKS ..NOBODY IS COMING AFTER TIMBERLAND ABOUT THOSE TRACKS CAUSE THOSE SAMPLES WERE CLEARED .....POINT BLANK TIMBERLAND IS HOT ..YOU TALKING ABOUT HE SHOULDN'T GET CREDIT FOR THEM BUT YOUR NOT MAKING ANY TRUE ARGUMENT FOR THAT ...GO THROUGH ALL THE OTHER PRODUCERS AND YOU'LL SEE WHAT WE'RE TALKING ABOUT ..PETE ROCK , PREMO , ETC ...ALL OF THEM HAVE USED SAMPLE FROM OTHER RECORDS ...

well i don't really have nonthin to do wit it anyway cuz i'm not a producer and i don't know but.. i do hear all this talk on youtube. and just wanted to clarify a few things but.. from what i'm hearin nobody comin at timberland about those other tracks cuz the people are all over seas and maybe they don't know how it's goin down.. so is that what niggas should do it they wanna steal or sample for free steal it from far away lands.. lol

I haven't heard of any other lawsuits except for that one particular track in question.....I said earlier "I hope he cleared the rest of those tracks".....all you really have to do is look in the CD case and check each song.....it should tell you what samples, if any, that a artist uses..(if you bought the cd legit...lol.....damn bootleggers).....if he didn't clear tham, then he should get sued for every track, but if he did, then the discussion should be over......I see where you're coming from. I was just telling both sides of the story.
