check this out Timbaland aint make them beats he been passin off as his.. he stole them s**** from over seas. now he bout to get sued. That n**** been jackin beats since Aaliyah was alive.. So if he won awards should they be takin back from him. and should we not respect him anymore.. u be the judge what do u think about this..check out the video and tell me what u think his punishment should be in regards to the props he been gettin in hip hop
i do think he made the beats hotter with his drums and the increased tempos i wouldn't of danced to them as much the way they were.. but i know producers and i know how sensitive niggas be when it come to thier art.. so takin somethin knowin u didn't make it and claimin it your own is just wrong.. false advertising
nah .. i never sent him nonthin somebody just brought it to my attention so i just wanted to see what every body thought.. i said it sounded hotter the way he speeded it up and put the drums.. i like it timabalands way.. but like u say he one of the hottest producers in the game right now.. but is it all due to his own skills is the question
i dunno know where the proof at this s*** all over you tube and says he bout to get sued i listened to tracks they comparin his to and they do sound almost exact.. i'm not a producer so i don't know but timbaland says he didn't know who they belonged to and when his deadline came he just handed the beats in.. i'm just wonderin shouldn't he have told them he got it from somewhere else
i didn't even hear about Polow.. i just think of all the producers that be comin up with fire joints and still underground even them atleast they puttin the work in themselves i Got love for Timbaland but i do kinda look at him different.. he still talented but not quite the genius i thought he was
these are basically samples....hip hop was founded with the use of samples....so whats ya point?...these samples were reworked and new beats added none of them sound exactly like the original.....if you research the songs in question, they dont sound like that the whole way through. Alot of people sample....some more than others (kanye) These people on the video are trying to hate (really, who is that guy at the end of the video?.....a nobody trying to make a name) I dont like sampling, but sometimes I do it.....it all depends on what you like. There are two differrent types of hip hop producers in the world, samplers and composers. (then the grey area, like me) all of my samples are mostly vocals....take for instance, the I get money beat .....that was a vocal sample on top of a beat and synth. Now on the other hand...if he didn't credit the sample in his CD, then this may be a problem....you must pay to use samples or get sued once the album drops.
timbaland tryin to say he didn't know who the beats belong to because there credits weren't listed they from over seas or seas or somethin so not that he found out who they belong to does he have to pay all that back money
he got that sample in question from a video game....two niggas sampled the same s***....made a beat and one wants to sue. Tim was quick on the draw and put it out first.
I'll give you an example....I made a beat with a sample from the "Kill Bill" soundtrack.."Bang Bang, he shot me down"......a few months later Young buck dropped a CD and that sample was on it......was I pissed?....yes.....could I do anything about it?.....no.....he put it out first.....I could remix it, and clear the sample, but it was already done. The shock value wouldn't be the same, so you have to let s*** like that go.....if you have a good sample, you better push it out there quick. Just make sure you clear it.....The guys suing Tim used the same sample and then tried to sue after his dropped first......they were both sampling the same music.
