i have purchased all of nelly's albums and i personally like nelly. no he aint the "hardest" rapper but hes alil more entertaiing than watchin some of these so called rappers stand in front of the camera and jus repeat what was already recorded. everybody wants to b hard and "do it for the hood" but quiet as kept the hood aint who made 50cent, the rest of the unit, nelly or anybody else successful, successful!! the hood bought the boot leg and the rest of america went to best buy. so if u dont like nelly cause u dont like nelly, thats your right and priviledge but to descriminate against him cause he aint "hard" u just might b short changin yourself out of good music

I guess you were smokin somethin when you asked that. Who buys Nelly Albums? I tell u, all the girls who likes hip-hop,a 40% of girls that dont even like hip-hop and a 25 or 30 per cent of boys who listen to hip-hop... That's what make his numbers. But the question is... who the F doesn't dance to his music and all the f***ing clubs?

wow! thats a good question. i dont personally dislike nelly, but i dont have any of his albums either. im just gonna throw this out there then....females buy nelly albums, and america, meaning he is a pop artist now so he will put up numbers

Don't get me wrong, I don't hate Nelly. It's just I know alot of hip hop fans from around here & around the way & I never hear Nelly's name come up in any hip hop discussion despite that dude selling a s*** load of records. Now it's making sense because to the worlds eyes Nelly is not a rapper so hip hop fans don't buy his stuff the white & R&B audience buys it.
