I would rather struggle and being with God. I know that this is not my home on earth and i know that i will not be strugfling when i get to heaven. If God lets me in.

whichever i choose.... it's up to me.. God doesn't make you broke or rich.. you make you broke or rich.. God gives you the gift of strength to beable to move on through any hardship... if you chose to sulk and do nothing with the life God gave you then that on you.. you don't really have God in your life.. b/c it's strength and faith and compassion and the will to do right.. and what goes around DOES come back..simply because we are human... you put yourself in situations for it to do so..SOMETIMES.. but if you live accordingly (as much as a born flawed creature could) you'll be rich in a way that you define for yourself.. God doesn't do the work for you.. thats a genie.. God gives you the tools to be able to do for yourself... you know.. give a man a fishing pole... etc... POINT.. If you have God in your life.. you have the strength and faith and courage to be rich ...rather, what it takes to be rich.

Are you a Christian? The reason i started this discussion is because i read in the bible a man who saw Jesus and wanted to be closer with him ( wanted him in his life) but this man is rich. God spoke to him and told him he will be with him and teach him his will only if he give his riches to the poor. The man did not agree and lefted.
And also, I read that when you do something nice or when you help someone do not go out and spread it to everyone to get an award of what you have done-because i will reward you when you get to heaven. Do you believe that? I know that some of these famous people are so stressed out because they have so much money that they don't even know what to do with it. They just spend it on useless stuff. And most of them put God aside. Sometimes when something bad happens to them or if they experienced a near death experience they want to call him and be with him but not give up their wealth. We all have a purpose on earth and the bible does say that we should help the poor. This is not our home, What is a person going to do with ten or 20 cars ? When he dies he won't have them. His money is gone and then what? God wants us to help us in getting what we need not want.

whom are you askin if their Christian? doesn't matter thou.. your right... but if your a wealthy person and you deside to give your money to a poor man.. would that mean now that the poor man must only spend some and keep pass ing because now he's wealthy? And there are alot of celebs that give.. and they are doing just that..NOT TALKING ALL ABOUT IT!!!! sorry but..duh! don't mean it in a bad way but you just said what that was... also what if these celebs were the poor & humble.. before? doesn't that make them more or less important because someone helped them and they then, helped themselves.. must the rest of the world wait for our handout from these people who WORKED for their riches? also i read the Bible ..enough to know you'll find several things that.. conflict with what it just said..(but we won't go there..) it's all about having faith.. at the end of the day.. so have it.. bad happens to everyone.. God gives you strength to endure it... good happens to everyone... God gives us the compassion to share it.. what else can one do.. being born into this world ....with no chance of being sin free? God knows who is doing what.. if you read it.. then there is no need to justify to you or anyone else....right.. he judges.. and he knew you before you were a twinkle in your mothers eye.. right? then we need not worry about them because we 1. do not know what they do , and 2. Could really use that energy to worry about ourselves before we can get to others ..

if a poor man or woman receives money from a wealthy man or woman he will do whatever he wants with the money. Now if this man have faith in God he will too take the money and get himself out of the situation he is in and when he is standing on his two feet he too will do the same to someone else and so on and so forth. .....Yes, I know that there are alot of Celebs giving. There are alot of celebs not giving..I don't see why anyone don't want to help out anybody. We are all different, what worked for Michael Jordan did not work for someone else. If i had so much money, i would first take care of my family and then i will buy the stuff that i need. the rest of the money i will give away to the less fortunate, because i know that is what God wants me to do. Without him i wouldn't be rich. he could have put me in a accident to where i didn't get to see my money or etc. . i will help out whomever and wait until God gives me my reward. Now you read in the bible about several things about what we are talking about. You say that you didn't want to go there but, i want you to go there. I want you to give me the scriptures so that i can read them.
We know what Celebrity people do because we see it on TV, in pictures, and they say what they do. No, we are not in there homes or in the car with them everyday, but they put there business out there for all to see and know. they want attention. They want you to never forget what they say or did. Please, don't get angry at me for speaking my mind. This is America. Freedom of speech.

I used to feel like this Q, now i feel like that thought was kind of created by people who want to control me. Making me think that I can have only one or the other
where I now feel that knowing how close god really is to me I have the power to bring everything into existance that I want and the trick is to know what is really important. Not just what we are told is important what really is.
When an army does not win a war their country can take on the cultural aspects of the winning or agressor nation in some instances this is not always the case but it does happen depending on what was the intented outcome of the war

but there has been a cultural war on on Africa for a very long time and People not understanding our culture took all that they saw was good and used it in their culture forgetting where they got it from. My point is we are adopting our aggressors culture and it is not made for us It is like wearing a skin that will never fit quite right. Its like your cousin coming over your house looking in your closet and taking all the things that he or she thinks makes you as great as you are in their eyes. Taking it home switching some things and selling it back to you. When all along it is you that gives life to all the things around you. The way you rock that cap or crease those jeans make the look fly.

If you are truely with God then struggling is not part of your life. You may struggle over mountains in your life, but it's not a part of you; it's only temporary. I can say that God makes sure my needs are met, but I would love to be well off or at least not have to worry about finances! Whatever I am, I want to be with God! After all he is the ruler and maker of this world and everything in it!
