Why does South rap get played in NY and NY rap gets no play in the South?
I rarely hear any NY rap in the south unless it broke commercially like make me better or we fly high. but everything we make its played all day on the radio up there. Why is that?

The reason to that is there isn't alot of people who listen to NY music(EastCoast) in the south because of DJ's, Radio Stations and Clubs so its not the South fault. But me I'm from the south and I only like NY music(EastCoast), that s*** is so gangsta. The lyric, metaphors, and also punchlines. Not everybody from the south can do that, even though it may seem like NY music(EastCoast) is fading, it's really not, this may sound corny but music has it's time frame and it shifts alot so that sucks. NY music will always be the Best, the Kidd is out.

Its not the djs fault. anything that gets played is what people WANT to listen to. Wouldnt it be bad for business if they played s*** people dont want to listen too. thats always been the blame and its silly. The radio plays what people want to listen to and if NY rap is not gettin played then people DONT want to listen to it.
