When Did You Fall In Love With Hip Hop?
If you on this site, you have a love for hip hop because hate 'em or love 'em G-Unit is hip hop. So when did you fall in love with hip hop? What year that it happen & who was your 1st favorite artist when it happen? Be real with it! If it was Hammer, Kid 'n Play or the Dj Jazzy Jeff & the Fresh Prince it's cool because they all was hip hop.

i fell in love with hip hop when i first heard run dmc's king of rock. i thought to myself that was the s***! then came the fat boys, beastie boys, dj jazzy jeff and the fresh prince, stetsasonic, kid n' play, quee latifah, de la soul, jungle brothas, queen latifah, monie love, big daddy kane, biz markie, craig g, mc shan, krs one, nas, main source, redman, epmd...... the list goes on........ nowadays, the stuff that you hear now on the radio is giving hip hop a bad name. you got people like kanye, common, mos def, talib, jean grae, hi-tek, murs, jurassic 5, game, nas, jay-z, the roots, gym class heroes, kids in the hall...... these are a couple out of a couple thousand that are still keeping hip hop alive.

Busta Rhymes album can't remember the name but the CD's cover was red me and my friend made up a dance to go with it. I seriously got into when Marshall Mathers LP came out my mum brought it me I went France 2 years in a row and always had it in my walkman or tape recorder ? no Ipods in those days.

well yall are all old in 1999 when i was 14 in JHS 123 in the bronx living in soundview PJ's. There were three songs 1st was Hi My Name Is by Eminem... Then Ja Rule Holla Holla ....... and Lord Tyriq and Peter Gunz grew up in Soundview and they would always come by playing there joint Uptown baby uptown baby we gets down baby..... but when i brought eminem 1st album is when i got into it all....everything is shady

That's what started it for me! That's why I believe rap don't make people do stupid things. I believe being stupid makes you do stupid things. I started with NWA & Too Short & I haven't kill nobody yet & if I did I can't honestly say NWA had anything to do with it.
