I really got hooked when I heard Erik B and Rakim. My cousin Diana and I went to U.S.A. Skate and had a ball. This was in 1983 if I remember correctly. My boyfriend at the time was heavy into Rap and was a guard.
It must have been 10-15 niggas at any given time around us. Then, a fight broke out and a kid got cut up
real bad from being stomped with timberland boots from another crew. I still had a good time...
I don't even f*** with no new school rappers (rappers that been out less than 10 years) other than 50 Cent & G-Unit. Lately I've been getting my old school weight up. I just finish my juice crew collection. I advise everyone who wants to know how hip hop is suppose to sound to go to one of those stores that sells old cd's & stock up.
