IM FROM GARY INDIANA, AND WE ARE A NICE LITTLE FIFTEEN MINUTE DRIVE AWAY FROM CHICAGO, IF YOU HAVE HEARD ANYTHING ABOUT MY CITY, IT MOST LIKELY WASNT GOOD. AND TRUST IM NOT SAYING THAT LIKE IM HAPPY ABOUT IT. OUT HERE JUST LIKE IN CHICAGO WE HAVE THE USUAL FOLK AND PEOPLE NATIONS, THE BLOOD AND CRIP THING NEVER REALLY POPPED OFF LIKE THAT OUT HERE... YOU MIGHT GET A CAT FROM CALI THAT HAD FAM OUT HERE AND WOULD TRY TO REP.. BUT IT WOULD WORK.... AS FAR AS NEW YORK.. I DONT KNOW IF THEY ARE REAL OR NOT.. I MEAN FOLKS AND PEOPLE NATIONS BOTH HAS BI-LAWS AND MEANINGS BEHIND SYMBOLS AND STUFF LIKE THAT.. AND IF YOU EVER CLAIM TO BE IN THAT SET YOU NEED TO BE ABLE TO COME UP WITH THAT KNOWLEDGE WHEN CONFRONTED. IF THE NY G'S ARE FOLLOWING THE SAME PATH, THEN THEY COULD BE CONSIDERED REAL BUT EITHER WAY IT GOES.. THEY ARE STILL A BRANCH OFF OF A TREE THAT STARTED OUT WEST.

I dont see bloods or crips differnt from mostly any besides colours an popularity wich grew on since most blood an crip sets ivolved from other crews looking to gain more attention an what not so thats way I look at it

Dumbass the Zulu Nation and Latin Kings were not founded or professed to be gangs.NY was always unique in that in Black and Latino communities there is a strong sense of family bonds and love for the community.This kept gangs from growing out of control like in other parts of the US.
