its called co-dependent behaivior
it started in the classroom one child acting out that child gets ridlin the legal equivilent to crack the other children in the class learn to deal with him or her and their outbursts and seek these say relationship types in their adult lives.
there are many studies on it and there was a government program set up starting in the mid to late 70's to duplicate it.
Was i supposed to just listen I get that mixed up sometimes...
