I have never take offense when I hear latinos say "n****"...lol, I mean "n*****" is something different. But hey, a person like me refers to everyone as "n****". White, black, male, female, asian...it don't matter. lol, all "niggas" to me. lol.
I don't even think if it as being derogatory when it's done like that. HOWEVER, a white person bet not let me be near them when, and if they say "n****"...unless they had a pass...and even then it would be hard for me to accept.
