Met 50cent at the SECC Glasgow 8th November BIG thanks to thisis50.com
I won the thisis50 competition to go see 50cent at the SECC in Glasgow and it was superb. We met up with Tony from thisis50.com who hooked us right up with tickets and a walk straight into the concert, at first we thought that we were just getting the tickets and a walk to the front of the que and then it would be "enjoy your night, see ya later" but we got an escort right in and straight down to the backstage area which was a real buzz.
Backstage was jumping with security everywhere and we cruised right past them all to the upstairs area where we were greeted by 50's personal security who were there in force, we saw lloyd banks just casually walking through the corridor and it was surreal, there was only a short while before they went on stage so we went downstairs to the dining area while Tony hooked up a sweet spot for us in the concert arena.
We were then escorted over to the Lighting area facing the front of the stage where they control all the pyrotechnics and projections and lighting, where we had a Area all to ourselves to watch the show which was pretty cool. Once 50 and lloyd came on stage it all kicked off, everyone went mental and the place was absolutely bouncing from start to finish, they've got their game down to a fine art and they kept the crowd going through the whole show.
Nearer the end of the show Tony came and got us and took us down to the side of the stage where we caught the encore which was excellent as we were only a few feet away from the stage and 50 and lloyd were having a bit of fun with the crowd throwing in their shirts and trainers and hats, then 50 whipped his denims down as if he was gonna throw them in but that woulda meant finishing the show in his boxers so he quickly whipped them back up but I got a pic for you ladies so no worries :D
After the show we went backstage again and thats when we got to meet 50, It was nuts, you know you're there backstage to meet him but when he walks in the room it still doesn't hit you until he walks over calm as you like with a massive smile on his face which puts you at ease. He congratulated us on winning the competition and gave me a big cuddle and shook my boyfriends hand and asked us how we were all doing and if we enjoyed the show and then pulled us over for some pictures with him before heading off for some well earned rest.
All in all a spectacular night. Big thanks to Tony and thisis50.com and Corentin at gunit records for making it happen. Thanks to lloyd Banks and 50 Cent for a great show and big thanks to 50 Cent for taking the time out to get some pictures with us and just saying hi and being down to earth.
Big shout to the other couple who also wont the competition who were brand new and we hope you enjoyed the rest of your night at the afterparty over at the tunnel :)

You so luck girl i'm so jealous :-) I am going to see 50 in the C.I.A in Cardiff on the 12th November so i lookin forward to a brill show but then again 50 shows are always exerlent just like the man himself. GGGGGGGGGGG-UNIT

What an amazing show he put out. He came to glasgow in Sept 2005 and that was a great night but to actually meet him this time well what can I say I think I'm just coming round to it I still have his tunez bouncing in my head :) its nutz
