The release of 50 Cent's forthcoming album, 'Before I Self Destruct', has been pushed back to early 2009.
The follow-up to 2007's 'Curtis' was originally due to be released in the US on December 16, but his record label, Interscope, said that the rap star was feeling rushed to meet that target date, so he has decided to take more time.
They have not yet announced the exact date of the release of the new album, which features guest spots from Dr. Dre and Eminem.
It will come packaged with a full-length feature film in which 50 Cent plays an aspiring basketball star who turns to a life of crime after his mother is murdered, reports Billboard.
Hey crisman you need to get Game d*** out your mouth homo. Lil Wayne had a top 5 hit with Lolipop and still got pushed back. Now what?
I knew 50 was gonna do this. He just set this date out to get buzz going. He actually gonna drop his album in Feb. on the exact 5 year aniversay of Get Rich or Die Trying. That was the plan from the jump.
