50 Cent vs. Rick Ross: Who Won Round 1?
What up. It's Dat N**** Doc in this b****. But f*** all the b*******, I'm gettin straight to the point. I've seen about 1,000,001 threads about this s***, but ain't nobody really talking about who winning here.
My 2 Cents,
Ross has already ethered himself. Just by lying about the fact he was a C.O. I would've respected the homey more if he would've just came out and told everyone it was him in the pictures when they leaked instead of denying it for months until he felt like the truth had to be revealed. It's almost like a n**** wearing perfume and make-up pretending to be hard when everybody know they p****. And then, 5 months later that n**** comes out the closet and finally reveals he is gay. It's like damn. Everybody already knew it son. You should've just kept denying the s*** Ricky, cause in the back of my head there was always that doubt the pictures were photoshopped. Remember n****, telling the truth only helps if you do it before hand. Just my view on that s*** right there. And I'd hate to turn this into some NY vs the South s*** because I rep the south hard as f***. But one thing I can't do is defend lying. His lying, T.I.'s snitching, and Wayne's tight jeans are things I can't say anything about at all.
But, from the musical aspect of this, I think Ross won round 1. "Mafia Music" in my opinion is a better song than "Officer Ross". Definitely not a better diss song (he ony went at Fif in a few lines), but, a better song. With Ross talking about all the other s*** going on in his life, he only used a few lines on 50. I think when you make a diss song and use the whole thing to focus on one n****, it takes away from your range. Example, look at "Part Time Lover". 50 only used a few lines in that to go at Wayne, Baby, Ja, and Joe, but I still consider it one of the best diss songs ever. But, "Backdown" (Ja Rule diss) and "I Run New York" (Jadakiss diss) focused on them for pretty much the entire song. So, maybe Fif doesn't need the range.
Plus, 50 only took a few hours to get his s*** put together while Ross obviously has been working on this for a while. The only question now is, who responds next. Ross says 50 has 48 hours to come harder. If 50 comes out with another song, does that mean that he's acknowledged his comeback was "wack". I think it kind of does. I'm not saying the song was wack. But, from my perspective, if Fif releases another one before Ross has a chance to release another, that's him saying he knew he could've done better. Or maybe Fif is really just waiting to smash on Wayne with the best s*** he's got. But, I've never heard anyone 50's went at say his disses were wack and he should be repping NY better. Interesting route to take. But something tells me these niggas been sittin around plottin on Fif for a while. Oh well.
We'll see who comes out swinging first in Round 2. Putting Officer Ross' (lmao at how that seems to be his real rap name now, it just comes more natural than Rick Ross) c.o. past away, which rapper really won Round 1?

I'm from the South and before "Officer" Ricky, Rick Ross was one of them niggas I respected for his hustle, not his music. But, if you lie about your whole f***** life and still get at 50 Cent cuz you need a buzz, you should just expect a comeback like this. 50 Aint stupid, he could have gave the n**** 2 lines back but he made a whole song for the n**** AIMING at his whole career. The n**** said he is gonna f*** him up because that was a cheap ass move for Officer Ricky to get some buzz. You already know 50 loves to diss niggas and he definitely gained his swagger back puttin this diss track out, but he just had to. If 50 had given him 2 lines back, you niggas would of been like "damn 50 fell off. 50 used to murder niggas and end niggas careers, he just couldn't handle it with Ricky". Some niggas is 2 faced like that. 50 did what was supposed to be done on this one. If you get at me, I'll get back at you. If you get at me with 2 lines, n**** f*** it, I'll give you a song.
