50 Cent's "5 (Murder By Numbers)": IS THIS BAD TIMING???
OK. So we're officially less than a week away from the release of "5 (Murder By Numbers)", 50's final contractual obligation to Shady/Aftermath/Interscope. As we all know, 50 is doing this one for dolo: minimal promo and basically without approval from the bosses. I respect dude for wanting to do it on his own terms, but lets look at the facts:
#1: 50's "buzz" is not where it should be prior to an album release. Unless you're a member of TI50, follow 50 Cent on Twitter, or are a friend of 50 on his Facebook page, there's a chance you might not even know he has an album dropping next week.
#2: This is a "digital only" release, or so I've heard. I still don't believe it.
#3: The competition. All the major players have staked their claim on the Billboard 200 already. Usher took the #1 spot last week, Usher's protege Justin Bieber will take the #1 spot THIS week, SM2 dropped yesterday, Chris Brown and Flo Rida also drop on July 3rd, and let's face it: ADELE AINT GOING NOWHERE.
With all those aforementioned "POP" artists dominating the Billboard 200, not to mention the ridiculous buzz of Ricky Rozay, what are the chances of 50 Cent taking the #1 spot???

based on what bro? i haven't really done anything to raise awareness on this "5" joint aside from this particular thread. i haven't upped his youtube views or encouraged others to leave multiple comments on his vids or anything. i'm merely making observations.

It took him 3 years to produce 10 tracks album material..something aint right. Time will tell what type content of music he be producing in his lyrics maybe hes going through some tough times with the Illuminati sending him warning shots. Car crash, food poisoning etc..
